Girls Embracing Engineering – Go4SET

Go4SET is an environmentally themed 10-week STEM project that is run by the Engineering Development Trust (EDT) to inspire students towards STEM-related careers by linking education and industry.

A group of six Year 9 girls went to the launch event held at the offices of Eaton Electric in Luton, where they learned about how the site operated and developed insight into engineering.  The girls will be mentored throughout the project by engineers from Leonardo, an engineering company in Luton as they undertake a project that involves robotics and consider how robots might be used in schools in the future.
