Our latest project: a machine that sorts recycled waste made out of recycled waste.

Year 7 girls were proud of their early prototype model of the machine made with Lego Technic. The girls in the club worked to develop this machine over many lunch breaks during the past year.  Some brought their expertise from the Robotics club (one of our many co-curricular activities on offer at St Helen’s) deciding to incorporate a colour sensor into the structure (the main operational part of the machine), while others helped design and build various parts and try out ideas to see what would work.
