Year 5 pupils relished the opportunity to work with actors from the Young Shakespeare Company during a workshop to bring Shakespeare’s play ‘Macbeth’ to life.

The girls were thrilled and superbly confident as they took part in this riveting experience.  Their imaginations were firing on all cylinders as they experimented and made Shakespeare’s language and characters their own. We have been so overwhelmed by the response of the girls and their work on Shakespeare they have been preparing during English and Drama, that we have decided to stage our very own ‘Mini-Macbeth’ production!  So watch this space…
