A visit to the Gurdwara

Year 6 visited the Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Southall, Europe’s biggest Sikh temple, beautifully carved in marble and granite, where they were able to get an insight into how the Sikh community worships.

The girls were given the opportunity to learn about different aspects of Sikhism with particular focus on definitions, respect and how the Gurdwara is open to and welcomes everyone. They were especially delighted with the scrumptious vegetarian lunch with lots of second and third helpings!
