Congratulations to two of our GCSE music scholars who have been awarded their piano performance diplomas.

Summer in Year 10 has been awarded her ATCL Piano Diploma. In her recital, she performed a challenging and exciting programme, including music by Chopin, Faure, Schubert and Bach.  In this video, Summer performs ‘Polonaise in C sharp minor’ by Chopin with a great sense of expression and musicality.

Riya in Year 11 has been awarded her ARSM Piano Diploma and can be seen here performing Rachmaninov’s ‘Prélude in G sharp minor’ with sensitivity and detail. Riya’s programme also included music by Beethoven and Bartok.

We are incredibly proud of the girls and their commitment to their music studies – this is a fantastic achievement!
