As terms ends for the Christmas break today and with concerns over rising infection rates, the school has taken unprecedented steps to make available a free rapid Coronavirus antigen test for staff to enable them to weigh up whether to spend time with vulnerable family members over Christmas, and to identify any asymptomatic positive cases in a bid to help stop the spread of the virus and protect the vulnerable at this difficult time.
Over 100 members of staff will be taking advantage of this Covid Antigen testing project and it is a whole school community effort involving lab technicians, members of the Science Department, school nurses and administrators.
We are so grateful to everyone who has been involved and we are delighted to be able to contribute to reducing the spread of the virus and protecting our families and our communities.
