Spanish Lockdown Challenge

How we manage screen time is a constant source of debate and concern for so many parents. Our creative MFL teacher, Mrs Savell, set her KS3 classes a Spanish lockdown challenge to replace conventional homework in order to alleviate some of the time the girls would need to spend in front of their screen, designed to boost engagement with Spanish and promote the language and culture.

The BINGO challenge encouraged the girls to develop their engagement with and enthusiasm of Hispanic culture and the response has been fantastic. Year 7 students in particular, have embraced the challenge, many of whom have earned themselves a prize for their super work.
