What more could you wish for than to celebrate World Book Day with acclaimed children’s author, Robin Stevens. Students in Years 7 and 8 were in for an absolute treat today as they indulged in a virtual reading session with Robin.
The author generously shared her experiences of growing up and family life, having moved from California to Oxford at the age of 3 and explained how she spent her childhood reading murder mysteries in the hope that one day she might get the chance to do some detective work herself (she didn’t!).
Having studied crime fiction at university, Robin then worked in children’s publishing before becoming a full-time writer and creator of the bestselling, award-winning Murder Most Unladylike series. Robin lives in London with her pet bearded dragon, Watson!
A huge thank you to Robin for giving up time in her busy schedule to read extracts from her books and to share insights with our delighted students!
