Congratulations to Amal in Year 11, whose article on Alzheimer’s and mouth bacteria has been selected by Yale students and published in their magazine, the Young Global Scientists. This is an incredible achievement!
I decided to write my article on the translocation of mouth bacteria and its correlation to Alzheimer’s because I found it fascinating how important the mouth is in the development of other diseases around the body. As millions of people are affected by the disease, I believe any discoveries can play a key role in the future of Alzheimer’s research.
