Sixth Form Lecture on the plight of the Uyghur Muslims

Our Sixth Formers heard the very moving personal account of Rahima Mahmut, a Uyghur Muslim, who is the leading UK-based human rights campaigner for her people in China.

Rahima lectured on the rich cultural legacy of the Urghur people and their history under Chinese occupation. With a call to action, Rahima detailed the human rights violations in the region, including the widely reported concentration camps. In her words…
