We were thrilled to host our first ever pop concert at St Helen’s! Musicians and singers from across Senior School took part, performing across the musical genres from The Tide is High by the Junior Soul Band to various Chamber Choir performances.
Congratulations to our incredible performers, staff and parents who supported the event – it was fantastic being able to open our doors once again and perform to a live audience.
Recently, the St Helen’s Music Department hosted their very first pop concert in The Centre. Performances ranged from Shanti’s solo performance of ‘SOS’ by ABBA to band performances of ‘Blame it on the Boogie’ by The Jacksons. The concert included pupils from Years 7-13 collaborating to produce an evening of high standard entertainment for parents. There was a buzzing atmosphere for the duration of the concert further enhanced by some great lighting and audience participation. I hope that this will be the first of many times that ‘St Helen’s Goes Pop!’.
