Peace Hospice Care Fundraising Run

It was an exciting afternoon for pupils in Years 2-6 who took part in a fundraising House Cross Country trial in support of Peace Hospice Care – the first House sporting event in quite some time and the competitive spirit was evident. Lots of cheering and supporting before the event had even started.

It was lovely to see the older girls supporting and encouraging the younger members of each House around the course. We were very lucky with the weather too as it started to rain just as Nightingale crossed the finishing line. The times were extremely close and congratulations to Keller for winning the event. Amazing effort by all the girls and a particular shout out to Mrs Sharman who ran the course in her elf costume!

Thank you to our school community for the incredible generosity and kind donations – we are delighted to have raised over £2000 for Peace Hospice Care. Please do continue to support if you can – donations can be made here.
