Congratulations to our Class of 2023 on their A Level results!

Today, we were delighted to welcome our Year 13 students back into school to collect their long-awaited A Level results and celebrate their outstanding achievements.

Having not had the opportunity to sit GCSEs in the traditional sense due to COVID-19, the group sat these public examinations which were not adjusted for the first time since 2019. This meant that this was their first experience with a public examination series, and our girls excelled.

With 64% of all results graded as A* and A (up from 45% in 2019) and a tremendous 85% A*-B (compared to 76% in 2019), our girls have performed brilliantly and secured places at universities across the UK to study a wide range of courses, including Sociology at Durham, Law at Cambridge, PPE at Warwick, French and Russian at Oxford, Chemistry at Imperial and Modern Languages at Birmingham. In addition, ten students have secured places on Medical degrees which are in extremely high demand this year.

We are absolutely delighted with these results and so proud of all that our Year 13 students have achieved in what was their first ever set of public examinations. They have experienced much disruption to their education due to the pandemic and have demonstrated incredible resilience. Their grades truly reflect their hard work and commitment, as well as that of their superb teachers. We wish our students all the very best for their next adventures and look forward to hearing about their future achievements.
