We are delighted to welcome Mrs Bridget Ward as Head of St Helen’s School from September 2024.
Mrs Ward, who is currently the Head of Merchant Taylors’ Girls’ School in Liverpool will bring with her a wide breadth of educational experience, clear leadership, strong pastoral care, and great charisma to St Helen’s School as well as being an impressive role model for our girls.
She has worked in girls’ and co-educational schools, including two years as Deputy Head at Woldingham School in Surrey and three years as the Director of Academic Administration and Compliance at Queen’s Gate School, London.
It is an exceptional privilege to have been invited to be the new Head at St Helen’s School. I very much look forward to getting to know everyone and working with students, staff, parents and governors to further embed our vision for a unique, innovative and outstanding education. I was drawn to the St Helen’s ethos of ‘Brave Thinkers. True Colours’. Now, more than ever, it feels important to raise students’ confidence to believe in the power of their own abilities and celebrate their individuality to try to change our world for the better.
– Mrs Bridget Ward
We look forward to welcoming Mrs Ward to St Helen’s, who will continue to build on the great work of our interim Headmistress, Mrs Tracy Pollard.
